		<description>One thing this debate often misses is that making English the official language of the US would not mean our foreign-born citizens and their families would no longer be able to speak their native tongues.  An official language often only means that official government proceedings, documents, signs, etc. would be published or produced in English.

Those of you that live or travel in Canada will understand this more clearly, perhaps.  Canada has two official languages, French and English, and all signs, gov&#039;t publiciations etc are produced bilingually.  However, this does not mean that all Canadian citizens speak both languages fluently, nor does it mean that Canada&#039;s large native American, Asian, or Middle Eastern populations must abandon their native languages.

My two cents.</description>

		<description>&lt;i&gt;Does it really matter wheather Suddam hussein is a brutal dictator or not? should Us succed in liberating Iraq, who will be next ? waht if other countries begain to operate this way ? It is clear what a desater that would be .Why war was the only option ? how could any one in Baghdad be convinced that the bombing of their homes and families was for their benifit?&lt;/i&gt;

Of course, these are the very questions that should have been asked &lt;i&gt;before&lt;/i&gt; the invasion. . .</description>
