Veganism is a philosophy and lifestyle that seeks to exclude the use of animals for food, clothing, or any other purpose. Vegans do not use or consume animal products of any kind. The most popular reasons for becoming a vegan are concerns for animal rights, the environment, or human health, and spiritual or religious concerns. Of particular concern are the practices involved in factory farming and animal testing, and the intensive use of land and other resources required for animal farming.

Various polls have reported vegans to be between 0.2% and 1.3% of the U.S. population, and between 0.25% and 0.4% of the UK population. Vegetarian diets, which are similar to vegan diets, have been credited with lowering the risk of colon cancer, heart attack, high blood cholesterol, high blood pressure, prostate cancer, and stroke. Because a poorly managed vegan diet can lead to reduced levels of calcium, iodine, and vitamins B12 and D, vegans are encouraged to take dietary supplements.

Even dairy products like milk and cheese does not comes in the vegan’s lifestyle because the milk we get it is taken away from the baby of cow. Moreover milk is sucked out from the cow through the sucking tubes sucks out there peak and some blood which is due to the constantly use of those tubes for milk that creates injuries and when these cows lose there ability to give milk then these cows sent to the slaughterhouses for the beef. Even honey does not come in the vegans’ lifestyle.

Now the only question comes in mind why people eat meat? The most common answer among all was it tastes good. So is it smart move to kill someone just it tastes good? 

Alexander was an ancient Greek King of the Macedon. He was one of the most successful military commanders in history, and was undefeated in battle. By his death, he conquered most of the world known to the ancient Greeks. Alexander was perhaps one of the greatest Kings born till now. He had strong and clear aim in his life to conquer the whole world. Not only was he a strong King he was also a great person as he was well educated by the famous Greek Aristotle. He proved himself to be a king hearted yet strong King of that time, so that was the reason he was able to win both lands as well as the hearts of the regions he raided. He was kind to the families of his enemies and took proper care that they are not insulted and are dealt in the same manner as they used to be before his rule. He was brave and fought many battles leading his armies so his army had full confidence in him and they were ready to lay down their lives for him.

     Alexander had a strange thing struck in his mind that he had to conquer the whole world and earn both name and fame so that this world remembers him long after he is gone. He is raised in a bit different environment than other rulers were. He was filled with all kinds of hatred and doubts in his mind and sometimes he felt helpless and could not decide the right and the wrong all by himself. Still he managed to be educated by the Greek legend, Aristotle, which helped his thinking to become great. Considering myself in Alexander’s shoes I would have never gone for such a race for conquering the world. Instead if I was so smart I would have paid attention in my own region as to how I can make my area grow more rich and peaceful. I would have encouraged practices like trading and other forms in order to avoid such brutal battles and killing lives of plenty of soldiers. His dream was a bit strange to me and in no ways I would have believed in such a dream. Another thing was that in his whole life he was never shown confident enough as far as his family was brought in picture. So may be this could have been the case that he never wanted to stay close to his homeland and was traveling far and far. But by doing so he was conquering whatever was coming his way.

Sitting in Alexander the Great’s shoes I would have taken full advantage of the study that I would have studied from Aristotle. In the early conquests he made friends in the regions he raided. But that was of no use as his own men started hating him and revolting him which was also a cause of the breakdown of the Alexander. Leaving aside all odds I admit that he was the best rulers of all times as it was at that time a culture to fight for the nation’s pride and hardly anyone would have believed in the peace things. So altogether he was a ruler with an exceptionally tender heart and sharp brains.

Global warming is affecting many parts of the world.  Global warming makes the sea rise. Global warming affects weather and weather patterns around the world. Increase in the rate of melting of the world’s glaciers is evidence of global warming. Melting glaciers lead to an increasing number of earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions and due to the rising air and water temperatures worldwide are creating more frequent and severe hurricanes. Variation in climate and changes affect plants and animals in a number of ways, population sizes, and even physical structure, metabolism, and behavior. Continuing increases in atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases mainly associated with human activities. The pollution that causes global warming is linked to acid rain.  Acid rain gradually destroys almost everything it touches.  Global warming is also causing many more fires that wipe out whole forests.  This happens because global warming can make the earth very hot.  In forests, some plants and trees leaves can be so dry that they catch on fire.

United States has been affected by Global Warming. Global Warming has caused the weather around the United States to change drastically. The summers are becoming shorter and hotter and the winters are becoming longer and hotter. This phenomenon has stunted the growth of crops. Some crops are not recovering from being covered with snow in the winter. Global Warming is causing a domino effect everywhere. The weather is bad, which is causing crops to stop growing and that ultimately is bad, because that mean families aren’t making money.

            Before the Europeans arrived the soil was rich and fertile. Animals were able to live and graze on the rich grassland. Global Warming has been affecting the United States since the 1800’s. The same events that happened with the early inhabitants and Global Warming are happening now in the United States. The area will turn into less agricultural land, because of Global Warming.  As I stated above, Global Warming will affect the land we live and grow on. I believe that if the weather keep changing and crops aren’t being produced, the economy may go down. It may go down, because farm workers will loose out on money.

My discourse will be about my role as a student. I think being a student can be the most exhilarating time in your life. New friends, new places, new challenges can all add you to a huge buzz. I choose to write about my discourse as a student because in student’s life there are many phases such as success, failure and most important is stress. There are many worries in student’s life such as financial worries, exam pressure, burden of homework and so on. When I was a child I use to be in stress while going to school. My parents use to ask me what stress? Everything is provided to you. You have got food, shelter, clothes and schooling: I use to think then, what if I don’t get my homework done? What if it is too hard? What if I fail? What if I am dumb? My discourse will try to capture the true picture of student’s life.
The primary text for this assignment is Marjorie Savage’s “you are on your own”. This text is interesting and not too difficult to describe. This text is inspirational book that can answer you many questions and can help you to motivate in some ways. The author empathizes with college students as well as with their parents. Kids who are starting college can do some pretty bizarre things that parents can’t always understand. This book explains things from the parent’s point of view as well as the students. This text reflects the state of mind of the college going student and their parents. If you are a college going student in case you are in trouble gives an idea what to do next.
My resources to write my discourse will be through my research. My resources include some of the magazines, media that I will talk about the different aspects of a student.

Maybe it is so difficult to make a linkage because there is none and never has been any. The only way Bush had the power to invade Iraq was because the house approved unlimited measures to prevent terrorism on the U.S.The thing is Saddam (as sick and evil as he is) didn’t order the attacks on 9/11, Bin Laden did. While he started the war in Afghanistan (justified) he quickly moved on to Iraq (unjustified). If Bush had committed the same efforts to fighting and defeating the Taliban maybe we would be trying Bin Laden in the courts for the murders of the victims in NYC, Washington and PA., or applauding his demise. This was the purpose on these enhanced powers. Now after totally abusing this power, Iraqi’s are no better off, America is not any safer for the efforts in Iraq, and the human costs for a false agenda keeps rising with no end in sight. Had Bush stayed the original course maybe there would be fewer attacks on civilians due to fewer Taliban power players and Taliban puppets. Further sanctions on Saddam could have stifled him until correct information was gathered. All for oil? Maybe

The question of wheather or not English should be an official language has been a controvertial topic since country was founded. There are many different opinions on this topic. There are extremists who feel strongly for it. Then there are the average people who feel that there should be bilingual states such as those neighboring Mexico and Canada. Believe it or not, the U.S. has no official language. should english be the only official language? What about Sopanish ? what should be taught in school? what should be required and what should be allowed and accepted? This issuse is heated and controvesial. Surprisingly there are 329 languages in the United States.

     Why do people come to the United States of America? I believe its because this country has lot to offer. That is why English should be made the offical languages in this country. people come from all over the world to enjoy this country’s social and political freedom. Not making English the official language would defeate the whole purpose of this country. English as the official language of the United State will resolve the current issuse and prevent problems in the future. The biggest and most obivious problem with speaking many different languages in one united country is communication. Many imigrants dont learn English at all, English be the official language, the country will become closer and racial discrimination will lessen, because everyone will de able to speake the same language. We should avoid lowering down our citizenship standards and sustain the English Proficency

For majority of all the muslim nation doubt about the sincerity of the war. instead, Most say that it is an efford to control the Mideast oil and to dominate the world. The Americans said that they would not directly target civilians, well what about killing of civilians in bombing over Bagdad’s resturants ,they just said that, this was done on only the possibility the Suddam was there. to all people who say war is a war; explain that who has lost his entire family. how you  feel if your son or daughter had theur arm blown away. Dont you think this will create more Bin ladeans. The hate of muslims towards America will create more terriorist activities.

                                           For Americans its a war of freedom, to free iraqi people to live in  free air. how disappointing to see the iraqi people looting . Is this freedom we fought for? It is a scary scenario what US is implementing. It is the fear of male Muslim population to run the Middle East and beyond . The US is obsessed by loosing control as a world’s policeman.

                                      There are doubts about the motives behind the US led war on terrorism. Does it really matter wheather Suddam hussein is a brutal dictator or not? should Us succed in liberating Iraq, who will be next ? waht if other countries begain to operate this way ? It is clear what a desater that would be .Why war was the only option ? how could any one in Baghdad be convinced that the bombing of their homes and families was for their benifit?

A good ideological thinking says that we should be perfect in our personal life in order to give advice or interfear to someone. I have an political exzample, think of China thirty  years back. When india was in conflict with Pakistan regarding some land dispute then China without thinking started supporting Pakistan. After some time what happened India was in peace with Pakistan and it was China who was haing cold with India for like three years . Everybody condemed there act and there was a hudge discussion for this act and then they changed there principles. which were followed by every political party wheather republicans or democratics. And now we can see china is  among the leading country in todays world . That we can see no American cars running in China, which you can see in any small country in world. But 60% of our daily products that we use are made in china. China had made there own ideologies to make there economy run better and forget about what is happing in this world

we all use computers for many activities , some use it for entertainment and some use it for storing data.what ever the reason may be , your data is very important to you and losing it especially in the business enviournment. This can really be frustrating.Computers can become infected with some virus that can corroupt many files or folders  on your hard drive or you can accidently delete a file that you think there is no need of that file but in the future you find out that you really need that file , this is when  storing data in computer can put a restriction on you and ofcourse on your work.Thats why backup to your data is very important. There are many ways to back up your data safely ,one of the easier way is to buy a CD ,DVDs or you can think of a external hard drive with large amount of free space avaliable depending upon the user needs .If you have a small amount of data you can us a flash drive and these are easy to carry . You can also think of storing data on free online data manager you can put as much as data you want .What i  think the best way back up the data is to store in an external hard drive it safe than storing it online because any thing can happen to your online account like you can lost your ID or server can went down for that perticular site

computers  plays a vital role in todays world .We use computers for many activites , some use it for personal needs , entertainment , information , sometime we use it for our bussiness needs .With some softwares like, word , power point etc. we can use it for our projects and presentations , softwares like photoshop we can edit a picture and play the the different tools .With the revolutionary technology internet on the computers everything has become so simple and convinent that you, can do banking , can pay your bills etc. just sitting at home or at work . if you need to go somewhere you can  just  click to mapquest .com , can have the direction . We can take online classes just sitting at home . Some institutes have distance learning centers so we can take the courses and dont have to be physically attend the class . One can talk or chat to friends or family online which is much cheaper way to stay in contact . we can send recive mails from our family and friends and we also  recive some important data from anyone we can also keep it saved there is no worry if the computer windows gets corruped or get some virus in it .one can go to some other computer and can access the data . if talk about blackboard used in the schools we can submmit our assignments and projects as soon as we are done with that . we can buy thing oneline from many sites like ebay.com and amazon.com etc. which will be much cheaper from going in the stores and can have that thing very next day on the door step .
